Rumor is the new MacBook Pro with M1 (Apple Silicon) chip will come in 14 and 16 inch sizes, and include

- a RETURN to MagSafe charging!
- More ports! Not just USB-C anymore?
- Removal of the touchbar

I for one welcome these potential changes. The worst thing Johhny Ive did was convince apple to remove virturally every port from their laptops so they looked "sleek".

I always wanted Apple to come out with an external keyboard that supported Touchbar, since I rarely use my laptops without an external monitor. But they never did.

I always thought I LIKED the touchbar, but so many users hate it...

I never owned an MBP with one, so I guess I'll never know... could never bring myself to spend the extra $$$ on the MBP, as I always went with the $1299 versions. :/

Aside from Linux boxes that I've come to love and OWN, Apple is my computing choice... I am not afraid of the new ARM stuff and have seen overwhelmingly good reviews about them so far. Even the $699 mini.
